Today, we have added Nachos to our menu. They're made with white tortilla chips, Todoroff's Original Chili Sauce, nacho chesse, sliced jalapeño peppers, and sour cream. Our customers call them Extraordinary, Magnificent, Supreme, Totally Awesome. That about says it all.

Todoroff's Original Coney Island is pleased to announce that the company is now using trans–fat free cooking oil in its deep fryers. We have evaluated two trans–fat free oil blends, which have passed our rigorous operational and flavor criteria.
"We are pleased by the positive customer response to our new oil," said Kurt Todoroff, owner and president of The Todoroff Group, LLC, and also owner and operator of the prototype Todoroff's Original Coney Island restaurant. "Our customers have stated that Todoroff's products cooked in trans–fat free oil tasted the same or better than products cooked in the traditional oil. We are proud to offer a trans–fat free oil with the same great taste."While the large restaurant chains struggle to integrate trans–fat free oil into their operations, establishing multi–year schedule milestones to accomplish this goal, Todoroff's has demonstrated real leadership in the foodservice industry by implementing this change immediately.
Todoroff's continues to lead the Quick Service Restaurant industry in food flavor, customer service, food safety, restaurant cleanliness, and technology.

Today, on the fourth anniversary of opening our first Todoroff's Original Coney Island franchise restaurant, we have added Premium Chicken Dippers to our menu. They're made with delicious tender white meat. They include your choice of one of the following dips: Ranch Dressing Marinara Dressing Barbecue Sauce. Richard and Marie Todoroff retired from business today and permanently closed their restaurant, Todoroff's Original Coney Island in Jackson, Michigan, after forty–four years. Their adult children Kurt, Kimberly, and Keith visited them for several hours at the restaurant on their parents' special day. As young teenagers Kurt, Kimberly, and Keith worked with their parents at the restaurant throughout high school. They accompanied their parents on their first day in business on June 22, 1971.
This event makes way for Todoroff Foods to embark on its next phase of growth as it expands its production operations into the Ganson Street facility that was previously occupied by Richard's and Marie's restaurant.

Richard and Marie Todoroff announced their retirement today. They placed a large advertisement in the Jackson Citizen Patriot which outlined their retirement plans and in which they expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Jackson community for their forty–four years in business. Richard's and Marie's final day in business will be August 31, 2002.

Kurt Todoroff, co–founder and managing member of The Todoroff Group, LLC, opened the first Todoroff's Original Coney Island franchise restaurant for business today. Kurt's wife, Kathleen Todoroff, accompanied him during the opening and dedication ceremony. Kurt dedicated the company's flagship restaurant to his father, Richard G. Todoroff, who sparked the dream of building a nationwide franchise of Todoroff's Original Coney Island restaurants.

We closed on, and took possession of, the land located at 1200 West Parnall Road in Jackson, Michigan today. This site will eventually become the first Todoroff's Original Coney Island franchise restaurant.
